Elementary Summer Institute 2024

Participants will actively sort different addition and subtraction word problems into categories and create bar models for each to explore how even eleven different ways of asking word problems only need a few bar models to represent them all. Teachers will leave with ideas on how better to incorporate word problems and models into their instruction.
