Elementary Summer Institute 2024

De-escalation is evidence-based training that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively manage crisis situations. This proactive approach provides individuals with the tools to prevent or minimize the need for physical intervention or restraint. This strategy to crisis prevention is crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.  This session will also review the TFSD Restraint and Seclusion policy that aligns with Idaho code.
