Elementary Summer Institute 2024

The ECRI enhancements are designed to make core instruction more explicit and systematic, by providing a structured literacy approach creating strong literacy  foundations for all learners. These enhancements to Wonders were designed to make the effectiveness of the core program greater by increasing the quality of instructional routines with content directed by the scope and sequence for K-2 classrooms. The essential components of beginning reading instruction are incorporated into a day-by-day set of lessons. During this session, we will review the instructional routines included in ECRI. Participants will have opportunities to reflect on demonstration lessons and practice for implementation. All will receive the ECRI manuals from the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon to Enhance 2014 Wonders
