Elementary Summer Institute 2024

Bringing critical thinking into the classroom entails understanding the concepts and principles embedded in critical thinking and then applying those concepts throughout the learning process. It means developing powerful strategies that promote students in their journey as a critical thinker. In this session we will focus on an introduction to critical thinking and a next step for embedding critical thinking into instruction and curriculum design. This step will provide one entry point to engaging students in assessing their own thinking about what they are trying to learn as they are learning.
