Elementary Summer Institute 2024

We will focus on building an understanding of shape through activities and questions about attributes and properties.  We will investigate relationships between shapes by discussing their attributes and properties, leading us to the hierarchy built in Grade 5. We will conclude with a brief look at how the work done in elementary can be utilized to work on area concepts in middle school.
